Chatterbox (band)
Chatterbox also styled as CHATTERbOX was a project of the Crucified's Jeff Bellew. The project hosted many session musicians, including Stavesacre and the Crucified's Mark Salomon, and Argyle Park and Circle of Dust's Scott Albert. Bellew has also played on Argyle Park's album ''Misguided'', along with Salomon, Dirk Lemmenes (of Focused and Stavesacre), and multiple other musicians. History Chatterbox began following both the Crucified's disbanding and his touring stint with Mortal, in 1994 by Jeff Bellew. Bellew created the band, inspired by Ministry, Mortal, and Circle of Dust. Jyro Xhan of Mortal helped produce Chatterbox's first demo, though Bellew would have preferred he would have been more "hands-on". Garret Morgan joined as a guitarist, and the two co-wrote the debut album. Tooth & Nail Records is a record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in November 1993. The label later moved to Seattle where it is today. History Brandon Ebel and Michael Knott conceived the label as a joint venture, before Knott backed out. Prior to forming Tooth & Nail, Ebel worked for Frontline Records. Tooth & Nail's first album released was Wish for Eden's ''Pet the Fish.'' In 2002, the label bought out Takehold Records. In 2013, Brandon Ebel sold the Tooth & Nail music catalog to Capitol Christian Music Group (formerly EMI Christian Music Group) and bought back the 50% stake in Tooth & Nail formerly owned by EMI, making it an independent record label. Unashamed was a Christian hardcore punk band that became one of the founding bands in the Spirit-Filled HardCore movement. Their bold faith-based lyrics center around ideas directly lifted from the Bible and conservative morality. They released two albums on Tooth & Nail Records. After signing with Tooth & Nail, the band toured until their "final" show at Cornerstone Festival in 1998. In 2009, the band announced that they were reforming with many of their original line-up, and would begin touring hard into 2010. Jyro Xhan
Jyro Xhan is the stage/pen name of Filipino American musician GD La Villa. He lives in California. He is a singer, songwriter, producer, guitarist and keyboard player. He has been in several bands such as Jyradelix, Cush, Juggernautz, but most notably Mortal and Fold Zandura. He was the main songwriter and lead singer for both bands. He first used his pen name in 1988 on a demo tape but spelled it "Gyro" until the release of ''Fathom'' where it became Jyro. In 1988 he, Jerome Fontamillas, Ray Tongpo and Wilson Peralta released a six-song demo called ''Wish Fifteen'' as Mortal Wish. Mortal was a Christian industrial/dance band fronted by Jerome Fontamillas and Jyro Xhan. Both members went on to found the alternative rock group Fold Zandura, and for a time were members of both bands simultaneously.
