Chapel Street, Belgravia
Chapel Street is a street in central London's Belgravia district. It runs south-west to north-east from Belgrave Square to Grosvenor Place. No. 24 was home to Brian Epstein, the manager of the Beatles, who moved there in January 1965 from a flat in nearby Whaddon House. The house hosted numerous parties, including the '' Sgt Pepper'' album release party. He died there on 27 August 1967 of an accidental barbiturate and alcohol overdose. Gerald Grosvenor, 6th Duke of Westminster gave a house in the street to Norman Tebbit and his wife, following the Brighton bombing in 1984. Michael Heseltine lived at No. 30 for many years, formerly home to Nina Campbell. Chapel Street, Liverpool
Chapel Street is a road in Liverpool, England. Situated in the city centre, it runs between Tithebarn Street and the Dock Road. History The street was one of the original seven streets that made up the medieval borough founded by King John in 1207, together with Water Street, Old Hall Street, Castle Street, High Street, Tithebarn Street and Dale Street. The street originally contained a chapel by the quayside, known as St. Mary atte Key. The first recorded reference to Chapel Street dates from 1368 on a deed for a burgage plot. By 1355, the church was deemed too small for Liverpool's growing population and a new church was to be built on land given by the Duke of Lancaster to the burgesses. Known as Church of Our Lady and Saint Nicholas, it took over a century to build. Over the course of time, parts of the church were demolished and rebuilt. Chapel Street is a street in Melbourne, Victoria, running along the inner suburbs of South Yarra, Prahran, Windsor, St Kilda and St Kilda East. The street is particularly known for its shopping strip between Toorak Road and Dandenong Road, which is lined with historic shop buildings including a number of large former department stores.
