''ITV News Channel TV'' (referred to as ''ITV News on Channel'' on air) is a television news service for the Channel Islands broadcast and produced by ITV Channel Television. ITV News has its main Channel Islands newsroom in Jersey as well as a smaller bureau in Guernsey, both with reporters and camera crews working seven days a week. The station also has freelance video journalists based on the smaller islands of Alderney and Sark. There are currently six ITV Channel TV news bulletins produced on weekdays: three during ''Good Morning Britain (2014 TV programme), Good Morning Britain'' (branded as ''Good Morning Channel'' on air), an update after the ''ITV Lunchtime News'', the main 6pm programme which precedes the ''ITV Evening News'', and a late news bulletin after ''ITV News at Ten''. Jonathan Wills
Jonathan Wills is a British journalist currently employed by ITV Channel. Born in 1964 he has worked for ITN, where he was best known for presenting the sports segment during the now defunct ''ITV News at 10.30''. He also fronted regional programme ''London Soccer Night'' for ITV London. In late 2007, his contract with ITN ended and he joined ITV Anglia to present the ''East'' edition of their regional news programme ''Anglia Tonight''. As of 12 February 2009, he was the main presenter of the merged ''East'' and ''West'' editions of ''ITV News Anglia'', alongside Becky Jago for almost 14 years. His last programme was May 28, 2021. ITV Evening News
The ''ITV Evening News'' is the evening news programme produced by ITN on the British television network ITV. It airs Monday to Friday from 6:30pm usually until 7.30pm (since March 2022) though the finishing time of the bulletin can occasionally be brought forward to 7pm in cases of coverage by ITV Sport or other special programmes airing on ITV. The '' ITV Evening News'' covers British national and international news stories and is presented by Mary Nightingale. Freeview is the United Kingdom's sole Digital terrestrial television in the United Kingdom, digital terrestrial television platform. It is operated by Everyone TV and DTV Services Ltd, a joint venture between the BBC, ITV plc, ITV, Channel Four Television Corporation, Channel 4, Channel 5 Broadcasting Limited, 5 and Sky UK, Sky. Standard-definition television (SDTV; also standard definition or SD) is a television system that uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. ''Standard'' refers to offering a similar resolution to the analog broadcast systems used when it was introduced. In high-definition television (HDTV) and video display technology, 1080i is a video display format with 1080 lines of vertical resolution and Interlaced video, interlaced scanning method. This format was once a standard in HDTV. It was particularly used for broadcast television because it can deliver high-resolution images without needing excessive bandwidth. ITV News Channel
The ITV News Channel was a 24-hour television news channel in the United Kingdom which broadcast from 1 August 2000 to 23 December 2005. It was available on Sky, NTL:Telewest, and analogue cable. It was also available during the morning on ITV Digital. The channel was carried by its replacement Freeview, although the launch of ITV4 saw its hours on that platform reduced to 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
