''Changed'' is the eighth studio album by American country music group Rascal Flatts. It is their second studio album released on Big Machine Records, and was released on April 3, 2012. The band released the album's debut single, "Banjo", on January 16, 2012. The album's second single " Come Wake Me Up" released to country radio on May 21, 2012. The album's third single, " Changed", released to country radio on December 17, 2012, AC and Christian AC on January 22, 2013. On June 28, 2013, Rascal Flatts released "Sunrise" as their first official single in the UK. This is the first album from the group to not have a Top 40 hit on the pop chart. This is the group's first album not to go platinum and last to go gold. Rascal Flatts
Rascal Flatts is an American Country music, country music band formed in 1999 in Nashville, Tennessee. The band consists of Gary LeVox (lead vocals), Jay DeMarcus (bass guitar, background vocals), and Joe Don Rooney (lead guitar, background vocals). DeMarcus is LeVox's second cousin, a brother-in-law of country music singer James Otto, and was previously a member of the contemporary Christian music duo East to West. LeVox and DeMarcus are natives of Columbus, Ohio. From 2000 to 2010, the band recorded for Disney Music Group's former Lyric Street Records division. While on that label, it released six studio albums, all of which were RIAA certification, certified platinum or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Released on November 16, 2010, it is their debut release after signing with Big Machine Records after Lyric Street went out of business. Tom Cochrane
Thomas William Cochrane ( ; born May 14, 1953) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician best known as the frontman for the rock band Red Rider and for his work as a solo singer-songwriter. Cochrane has won eight Juno Awards. He is a member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, an officer of the Order of Canada, and has an honorary doctorate from Brandon University. "Life Is a Highway" is a song by Canadian musician Tom Cochrane from his second studio album, '' Mad Mad World'' (1991). The song became a number-one hit in Canada in late 1991. The banjo is a stringed instrument with a thin membrane stretched over a frame or cavity to form a resonator.
