Chagharzai is an administrative unit, known as Tehsil of Buner District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. District Buner has 6 Tehsils i.e. Daggar, Chagharzai, Chamla, Khudu Khel, Gagra and Gadezai. Each tehsil comprises certain numbers of union councils. There are 27 union councils in Buner District. Union Councils Of Pakistan
The union councils of Pakistan ( ur, ), referred to as village councils in villages, are an elected local government body consisting of 21 councillors, and headed by a Nazim which is equivalent to a mayor or chairperson and a Naib Nazib (vice chairperson). As of 2007, there are 5,375 rural union councils across 115 districts. They form the third-tier of local government and fifth tier overall. Its structure and responsibilities differ between provinces and territories. Gadezai
Gadezai is an administrative subdivision (tehsil) and Union council of Buner District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Gadezai/Salarzai was formally established by the appointment of first Assistant Commissioner/ Subdivision Magistrate Syed Hammad Haider PMS on 29th July 2020. Gagra
Gagra ( ka, გაგრა; Abkhaz and Russian: Гагра) is a town in Abkhazia/Georgia, sprawling for 5 km on the northeast coast of the Black Sea, at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains. Its subtropical climate made Gagra a popular health resort in Imperial Russian and Soviet times. It had a population of 26,636 in 1989, but this has fallen considerably due to the ethnic cleansing of Georgians in Abkhazia and other demographic shifts during and after the War in Abkhazia (1992–93). Daggar
Daggar ( ps, ډګر, ur, ) or Dagar is the capital of Buner District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located at and has an average elevation of 688 metres (2260 feet). Daggar is also an administrative unit ( Union council) of Buner District. Taliban conflict In April 2009 Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan from neighbouring areas entered the district following a peace deal with the government in Swat, Taliban fighters took over government buildings and killed those who resisted. On 22 April 2009, the Taliban took over the town forcing the police to retreat to their stations while they looted aid agency offices.
