Chad Gray (born October 16, 1971) is an American singer, best known as the lead vocalist of heavy metal bands Mudvayne and Hellyeah. Career Mudvayne Gray quit his factory job that paid $40,000 a year to move to Peoria, Illinois and formed Mudvayne. The band's first album, '' L.D. 50'', was released in 2000 to unexpected success, selling over half a million copies within a year of its release. Mudvayne went on to become one of the most successful heavy metal acts of the 2000s, and released four more studio albums—'' The End of All Things to Come'' (2002), ''Lost and Found'' (2005), '' The New Game'' (2008) and ''Mudvayne'' (2009)—before going on hiatus in 2010. On April 19, 2021, it was announced that Mudvayne were reuniting for their first shows in over a decade, with the possibility of new material to follow. Mudvayne is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in Peoria, Illinois, Peoria, Illinois, in 1996. Known for their sonic experimentation, face and body paint, masks and uniforms, the band has sold over five million records worldwide. Nothingface (band)
Nothingface was an American nu metal band from Washington, D.C., formed in 1994. Their best-known and most prolific line-up consisted of Matt Holt (vocals), Tom Maxwell (guitar), Bill Gaal (bass) and Chris Houck (drums). They disbanded in 2004, only to reform the following year, reuniting with Gaal and Houck, and then disband four years later. In 2017, Holt died from a degenerative disease. Mitchell Adam Lucker (October 20, 1984 – November 1, 2012) was an American musician best known as the lead vocalist for the deathcore band Suicide Silence. Career Lucker first started performing music in 2000 with the band Breakaway, which would later become the Corona local metalcore band Dying Dreams. Dying Dreams featured Lucker on vocals and his brother Cliff on guitar, along with later Suicide Silence bandmates Josh Tufano on second guitar and Mike Olheiser on bass. Around a year before Dying Dreams broke up, Mitch Lucker was inducted into Suicide Silence when the band was still deemed a side-project. The band currently consists of vocalist Elias Soriano, drummer Robb Rivera, rhythm guitarist Rasheed Thomas, bassist Adam Woloszyn, and lead guitarist Jaysin Zeilstra. "Miracle" is a song by the American nu metal band Nonpoint, released as the first single from their sixth studio album, ''Miracle''. The song was released to alternative and active rock radio stations on February 15, 2010. It was also made available for download on iTunes and other online music retailers on March 30. It features Chad Gray of Mudvayne fame contributing vocals during the song's chorus. Meaning Elias Soriano explained the meaning of the song saying "I wrote this song as a gigantic 'Fuck You' to all those that doubted this band's will and perseverance. Bloodsimple was an American heavy metal band from New York City that formed in 2002. They were signed to Warner Bros. Records. The band's name comes from a term coined by detective novelist Dashiell Hammett. The term apparently describes the addled, fearful mindset people are in after a prolonged immersion in violent situations. The term was coined in the novel ''Red Harvest'', which is also the title of Bloodsimple's second album. V Shape Mind is an American alternative rock band. They released one major label album in 2003 before disbanding the following year. Background V Shape Mind was formed in 1999 and toured the local Illinois metal scene, during which they self-released an EP titled ''Metric'' in 2000. Darrell Lance Abbott (August 20, 1966 – December 8, 2004), known professionally as Dimebag Darrell, was an American musician. Vincent Paul Abbott (March 11, 1964 – June 22, 2018) was an American musician best known for being the drummer and co-founder of the heavy metal music, heavy metal band Pantera. He also co-founded Damageplan in 2003 with his younger brother, Dimebag Darrell, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, and was a member of Hellyeah for 12 years from 2006 until his death in 2018. Damageplan was an American heavy metal band from Dallas, Texas, formed in 2003. Following the demise of their previous group Pantera, brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott wanted to start a new band. The pair recruited former Halford guitarist Patrick Lachman on vocals, and later Bob Zilla on bass. Damageplan released '' New Found Power'', their only album, in February 2004. ''New Found Power'' debuted at number 38 on the ''Billboard'' 200, selling 44,676 copies in its first week.
