Cha-cha-chá (1998 Film)
''Cha-cha-chá'' is a 1998 Spanish madcap comedy film directed by Antonio del Real. It stars Eduardo Noriega, Ana Álvarez, María Adánez and Jorge Sanz. Plot María is in a relationship with Pablo, whom longtime María's friend Lucía gets infatuated with after sleeping one night with him. Lucía enlists the services of Antonio, a lower-class wannabe male model, to seduce María "away" from Pablo. Cast Production The screenplay was penned by Fernando León and Carlos Asorey alongside Antonio del Real. The film was produced by Sogetel in collaboration with Tele 5, and it also had participation of Canal+. Juan Amorós was responsible for the cinematography whereas Pablo Miyar was responsible for the music and Miguel Angel Santamaría for film editing. César Benítez took over production duties. ''Variety'' is an American trade magazine owned by Penske Media Corporation. It was founded by Sime Silverman in New York City in 1905 as a weekly newspaper reporting on theater and vaudeville. The peseta (, ) was the currency of Spain between 1868 and 2002. Along with the French franc, it was also a de facto currency, ''de facto'' currency used in Andorra (which had no national currency with legal tender). Etymology The name of the currency derives from ''peceta'', a Catalan Language, Catalan word meaning ''little piece,'' from of the Catalan word ''peça'' (lit. ''piece'', "coin"). History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. Fernando León de Aranoa (born 26 May 1968) is a Spanish screenwriter and film director. León de Aranoa entered the film industry as a screenwriter. He made his feature film directorial debut with '' Familia'', which won him the Goya Award for Best New Director. Canal+ (Spanish TV Channel)
Canal+ was a Spanish commercial television channel operated by Sogecable, before its eventual sale to Telefónica. It was available on the digital satellite television and IPTV platform Movistar+. History Canal+ began its trial transmissions on June 8, 1990 and it launched as a regular channel on September 14 of the same year as a terrestrial channel in Spain. Similar to its French counterpart, the channel broadcast most of its content encrypted, forcing the usage of a decoder to view all programming on the channel properly. The Spanish version was already using the Nagravision encryption system at launch, while the French version would not implement it until two years later. In 1997, new channels using the Canal+ brand were launched in Spain, following the launch of Canal Satélite Digital.
