Cezary Jacek Balicki (born 5 August 1958) is a Polish bridge and chess player. After 2014 competition, he ranked 17th among Grand Masters by World Bridge Federation (WBF) masterpoints, five places ahead of his longtime partner Adam Żmudziński. They ranked 26–27th among more than 100 all-time Grand Masters by placing points that do not decay over time. Balicki also holds the chess title of FIDE Master (FM). Balicki won the World Transnational Open Teams in 2000 and 2009, European Open Teams in 1989 and 1993 as well as the London Sunday Times Invitational Pairs in 1994. His team finished second in the 2000 World Team Olympiad, 1991 Bermuda Bowl and 1994 Rosenblum Cup. Cezary Geroń (1960–1998) was a Polish poet, journalist, translator and teacher. Born on 28 July 1960 in Jasło, he graduated from a local college in nearby Krosno. Afterwards he moved to Kraków, where he joined the Faculty of French Studies. He then moved to the Warsaw University, from which he graduated. He started working as a journalist and correspondent for the ''L'Osservatore Romano''. Cezary Ketling-Szemley (22 July 19159 January 1979) was a Polish military officer and lawyer. He was a participant in the Polish resistance movement during the World War II, member of the PLAN, Home Army and PAL, main collaborator and supporter of the Jewish Military Union (ŻZW) on the part of the Polish underground during and before the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. He was born as Cezary Szemley. During the war he used the aliases "Janusz", "Ketling", "Olgierd" and "Arpad". After the war, he signed himself Cezary Szemley-Ketling or Ketling-Szemley. Cezary Jan Skubiszewski (born 1948) is a Polish-born Australian film and television composer. He composed the film scores for ''Two Hands'' (1999), ''Red Dog'' (2011), '' The Sapphires ('' 2012) and the TV series, '' Picnic at Hanging Rock'' (2018). Personal life and education Skubiszewski was born in Warsaw, Poland. His mother was a concert pianist.
