Central High School (CHS) is a suburban public school located in Phenix City, Alabama. Offering grades 10 through 12, Central Phenix City is the only high school in the Phenix City School District. CHS is connected by one freshman academy, an eighth grade school, and eight elementary schools. Central High School (Pueblo, Colorado)
Central High School is one of six public high schools located in Pueblo, Colorado, United States. A part of Pueblo School District 60, the high school was the second for the city of Pueblo, and was founded in 1881. It is the only high school to have two Medal of Honor recipients, William J. Crawford (Class of '36) and Carl L. Sitter (Class of '40). History Central first opened in 1881, and in 1886 graduated its first class of nine students. In 1889 Central introduced vocational education into its curriculum, making the district the first west of the Missouri River to introduce what was then called "manual training" into the schools. Forsyth Central High School is a public high school located in Cumming, Georgia, United States, northeast of Atlanta. Built in 1955, it was originally known as Forsyth County High School until 1989 when South Forsyth High School opened. It is one of eight high schools in the Forsyth County School District. Central High School (Carrollton, Georgia)
Central High School is a public high school, part of the Carroll County School System, located just outside Carrollton, Georgia, United States. 1999 suicide pact shooting On January 8, 1999, a suspected suicide pact shooting took place at the school. Students Andrea Garrett and Jeff Miller were found shot in a girls bathroom with a .22-caliber pistol nearby. Garrett was taken to the nearby Tanner Medical Center where she was shortly pronounced dead. Miller meanwhile was airlifted to Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta. He died a day later. An investigation by the Carroll County Sheriff's Office pointed to an intended suicide plan with Central High students recalling Garrett speaking of suicide weeks before. The sheriff's office also concluded the pistol belonged to Andrea's parents and speculate a scenario where Miller shot Garrett before turning the gun on himself due to the weapon being found nearer his body. History Central was founded in 1983, when Allentown School (which previously occupied the lot), Munson School, and Chumuckla School merged into one school.
