The swallows, martins, and saw-wings, or Hirundinidae are a family of passerine songbirds found around the world on all continents, including occasionally in Antarctica. Celedonio Calatayud Costa (; October 29, 1880 in Pedreguer – January 24, 1931 in Madrid) was a Spanish scientist and radiologist, remembered for his achievements on radiology, radiotherapy, and electrology. He pioneered the use of radiology and electrology in Europe for both diagnostics and therapeutical purposes, introducing radiotherapy in Spain in 1906. He founded the Spanish Medical Electrology and Radiology Society (Sociedad Española de Radiología y Electrología Médicas), promoted the doctoral chair of Electro-radiology and was elected as the first professor to chair it at the Universidad Central (later renamed Complutense University of Madrid). Celedonio Dómeco de Jarauta (3 March 1814 – 19 July 1848) was a Spanish soldier, Catholic priest and later a Mexican guerrilla leader in the Mexican-American War. Celedonio Dómeco de Jarauta was born in Zaragoza, Spain, on March 3, 1814. He fought as a Carlist in the First Carlist War. He emigrated to Havana, Cuba, and took Holy Orders becoming a priest. In 1844 he was granted a parish in Veracruz, and immigrated to Mexico. In 1847, when the Americans landed near Veracruz, he was appointed chaplain of the 2nd Infantry Regiment, then head of the field hospital. After the fall of the city he went into the countryside and organized companies of guerrillas then commanded a force of them, harassing American convoys, small parties and couriers between Veracruz and Puebla especially in the Sotovento region, the coastal plain of the state of Veracruz. Celedonio Romero (2 March 1913 – 8 May 1996) was a guitarist, composer and poet, perhaps best known as the founder of The Romeros guitar quartet.
