Carramar is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Wanneroo and it is situated 30 km from the Perth CBD. Its postcode is 6031, and it came into being, together with Tapping to the south, in 1995 as a subdivision of Neerabup. Carramar is an Aboriginal word meaning "shade of trees", and was approved as a suburb name in 1997. Wanneroo Road
Wanneroo Road is a arterial highway in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia linking Joondanna and Yokine in the south with Wanneroo and Yanchep in the north. As part of State Route 60, it begins from Charles Street in the inner city and becomes Indian Ocean Drive up to Dongara. Originally a narrow and often country road with a single lane in each direction it has been periodically widened and (particularly north of Wanneroo) straightened. Around the Carabooda area the road has been realigned. Short sections of the original, narrow road remain providing access to properties and businesses along the road. Joondalup Railway Station
Joondalup railway station is a railway station on the Transperth network. It is located on the Yanchep line, 26 kilometres from Perth station serving the regional metropolitan city of Joondalup. History Joondalup station was built by Sabemo under a $5.2million contract. Construction began in November 1991. Sabemo's parent company, Transfield, was awarded the main award at the state Master Builders Association's Excellence in Construction Awards in 1993 for the construction of Joondalup station. Joondalup station opened on 20 December 1992 as the interim terminus of the Joondalup line (now called the Yanchep line), before being extended to Currambine in August 1993. Whitfords railway station is a railway station located on the boundary of Padbury and Kingsley, suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. It is on the Yanchep line, which is part of the Transperth commuter rail network. It is located in the median of the Mitchell Freeway, and consists of an elevated bus interchange on top of an island platform at ground level. South of Whitfords, trains run every 5 minutes during peak. North of Whitfords, trains run every 10 minutes during peak. Between peak during the day, trains run every 15 minutes. Yanchep Line
The Yanchep line, formerly the Joondalup line, is a suburban railway line and service in Perth, Western Australia, linking the city's central business district (CBD) with its northern suburbs. Operated by the Public Transport Authority as part of the Transperth system, the Yanchep line is long and has sixteen stations. It commences in a tunnel under the Perth CBD as a through service with the Mandurah line. North from there, the line enters the median strip of the Mitchell Freeway, where nine of the line's stations are. Kinross (, ) is a burgh in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, around south of Perth and around northwest of Edinburgh. It is the traditional county town of the historic county of Kinross-shire. Overview The school was established as Wanneroo High School in 1977, starting out with 180 Year 8 students. Robert James Stanton (born 20 January 1946) is a retired professional golfer from Australia. He had considerable success in the late 1960s, winning a number of tournaments in Australia and playing on the PGA Tour. As a 20-year-old, he won the 1966 Dunlop International, beating Arnold Palmer in a sudden-death playoff. He never won on the PGA Tour but was runner-up twice, in the 1969 AVCO Golf Classic and the 1970 Florida Citrus Invitational. Joondalup Drive is a major distributor road in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. The road travels through the City of Joondalup's central business district and extends for a few kilometres east through neighbouring residential suburbs in the City of Wanneroo. It was created at the 1989 redistribution and named after George Pearce, the longest serving member of the Australian Senate, serving from 1901 to 1938. Pinjar Road is a major distributor road in the north-eastern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Wanneroo. The road was formerly part of the now-decommissioned State Route 86, and one of Perth's major arterial roads, previously connecting with Old Yanchep Road in Pinjar. Due to the road's impact as a freight route on adjoining residential properties, it was extensively realigned in 2005, and ultimately downgraded in importance with the extension of Joondalup Drive and State Route 85 a year later.
