Salem City FC is an American amateur soccer club based in Bermuda Run, North Carolina that fields a men's team in USL League Two, and a women's team as the North Carolina Fusion in the USL W League. The teams plays their home games at the Truist Sports Park. History The team, which was named Greensboro Dynamo until 1996, was owned by Neil Macpherson, a passionate follower and former shareholder of English football club Nottingham Forest, as can be seen from the similarities between the two clubs' crests. The UNCG Soccer Stadium is a 3,540-capacity soccer-specific stadium located on the campus of University of North Carolina (UNCG) in Greensboro, North Carolina. The stadium was opened for the practise of soccer in 1991 and is home to the UNC Greensboro Spartans men's and women's soccer teams. Truist Point is a stadium located in High Point, North Carolina and is home to the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball and to Carolina Core FC of the MLS NEXT Pro league. The stadium is bordered by Elm, English, Gatewood and Lindsay streets. Truist (formerly BB&T Corporation) is paying $500,000 annually for 15 years for the naming rights.
