Carmen García De Merlo
Carmen García de Merlo (born March 27, 1962) is a Spaniards, Spanish lawyer, nurse and civil servant of Madrid City Council. In 2018, she became President of COGAM Lesbian, Gay, Transsexual and Bisexual Collective of Madrid, being the first transgender woman to preside over the organization. Biography García de Merlo, a woman, Transsexual, trans and bisexual, was born in La Mancha town of Valdepeñas, in 1962. She graduated in Law from the National Distance Education University (UNED) and has a Diploma in Nursing from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), as well as a Senior Technician in Occupational Health and Safety from the Carlos III University of Madrid. Valdepeñas
Valdepeñas is a municipality in the province of Ciudad Real, in the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It is also the seat of the judicial district that covers the localities of Moral de Calatrava, Santa Cruz de Mudela, Viso del Marqués, Torrenueva, Castellar de Santiago and Almuradiel. Lola Rodríguez Díaz (born 26 November 1998) is a Spanish actress, model, and LGBT rights activist. Biography At age eleven, Lola Rodríguez Díaz came out as transgender, and was recognized as such at school. With the support of her parents, she began her transitioning process at thirteen. She was a psychology student in Portugal when she began acting. In 2015 she was the first transgender minor candidate for Queen of the Carnival of Las Palmas with the fantasy ''La vida es bella'', sponsored by the Island Council. A make-up artist, also called a makeup artist, and often shortened to MUA, is an artist whose medium is the human body, applying makeup and prosthetics on others for theatre, television, film, fashion, magazines and other similar productions including all aspects of the modeling industry. Miryam Amaya Jiménez (born 1959), also known as Miryam Alma, is a Spanish Romani LGBTQ rights activist and performance artist. Life Amaya was born in a stable in Logroño because her mother was tending to mares when she went into labor. Her family accepted her gender nonconformity from the beginning, so she felt very supported. She grew up in Barcelona, a city where it was easy for her to get hormones without a prescription when she began treatment as a thirteen-year-old student. From a very young age, she was aware of the need to fight for her rights as a trans woman and Roma, and had to deal with Francoist repression. She was detained several times in police stations where she was subjected to abuse and humiliation.
