Carlos Sáenz Herrera
thumb Carlos Sáenz Herrera (Brussels, Belgium, 1 September 1910 – Saint José, 7 November 1980) was a Vice President of Costa Rica. He also served as a pioneer pediatrician in Costa Rica. His parents were José Carlos Sáenz Esquivel and Úrsula Celina Herrera and Paut. He married his first wife in Carthage, Costa Rica, on 4 December 1937. Her name was María Virginia Pacheco Gutiérrez, daughter of José Joaquín Pacheco Cooper and Carlota Gutiérrez Urtecho. His second wife, married on 1 September 1958, was Ángela Carbonell Massenet. She was the daughter of Francisco of Take Carbonell I Reverter and Juana Bautista Massenet Pozo. His primary studies were in the School Juan Rafael Dwells and secondary the Liceo of Costa Rica in Saint José where obtained his baccalaureate. José Carlos Sáenz Esquivel
José Carlos Sáenz Esquivel (May 19, 1861 – April 4, 1919) was a Costa Rican politician and lawyer. Personal life Jose Carlos Esquivel Sáenz, was born in Liberia, Costa Rica on May 19, 1861. The son of Vicente Sáenz Llorente and Marcelina Esquivel y Fernández, he married Úrsula Celina Herrera y Paut, daughter of José Ana Herrera y Zeledón and Rafaela Nicolasa Paut y Alcázar. From this marriage were born Antonio José, Ana Maria, Maria Carlos, Carmen Maria Amparo Maria Dolores, Celina and Carlos Sáenz Herrera. His son Carlos Sáenz Herrera became Vice President of Costa Rica. Career He graduated as a Bachelor of Law at the University of Santo Tomas. Carthage
Carthage was an ancient city in Northern Africa, on the eastern side of the Lake of Tunis in what is now Tunisia. Francisco Orlich Bolmarcich
Francisco José Orlich Bolmarcich (10 March 190729 October 1969) was a Costa Rican businessman and politician who was the 34th President of Costa Rica from 1962 to 1966. He was an ethnic Croat, a descendant of Croatian settlers from the town of Punat on the island of Krk, Croatia. Together with his brothers he founded in 1928 FJ Orlich & Hnos Ltda. (FJ Orlich & Brothers Limited). At first a large supply store in his hometown of San Ramón, this eventually grew to become one of Costa Rica's largest coffee firms. His half-brother, Franjo J.
