Carlos Miguel dos Santos Pereira (born 9 October 1998), known as Carlos Miguel, is a Brazilian professional association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for Premier League club Nottingham Forest F.C., Nottingham Forest. Club career Internacional Born in Rio das Ostras, Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Miguel began his career at Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, Flamengo before joining Sport Club Internacional, Internacional's youth setup in 2016. On 9 December 2019, he was loaned to Santa Cruz Futebol Clube, Santa Cruz for the season. Carlos Miguel left Santa on 8 October 2020, after failing to make a single appearance, and moved to Boa Esporte Clube, Boa Esporte also in a temporary deal on 20 January 2021. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D (English: Brazilian Championship Serie D), commonly known as the Série D or the Brazilian Série D to distinguish it from the Italian Serie D, is the fourth division of the Brazilian football league system, and was announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) on 9 April 2008. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D was formed from the split of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, Série C, keeping its best 20 clubs and playing double round robin as does the top three divisions. The Série D keeps the same format of the older Série C, but with participation limited to 40 clubs recognized by the state federation. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, commonly known as the Série C or the Brazilian Série C to distinguish it from the Italian Serie C, is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. The Copa do Brasil () is a knockout football competition played by 92 teams, representing all 26 Brazilian states plus the Federal District.
