Carlos Martínez (born 30 September 1955) is a Spanish Mime artist, mime actor. He has participated in the formation of various theatre groups and has taught mime and theatre in public schools, at the University of Zaragoza and at numerous international art seminars. He has published two manuals on mime, ''In Silence'' and ''Word of Mime''. Early life Carlos Martínez was born 30 September 1955 in Pravia (Asturias), Spain. At the age of 12, he moved to Barcelona, where he discovered his love for acting. He entered the pantomime school "Taller de Mimo y Teatro Contemporáneo" (1980), the performing arts school "El Timbal" (1981) and studied under professors such as Manuel Carlos Lillo and Jorge Vera (1982–1987). Carlos Martínez worked throughout Europe and in countries as diverse as Brazil, Canada, Chile, Philippines, Russia, South Africa, and the USA. Carlos Leopoldo Martínez Garrido (born 12 February 1989) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a winger. Club career Born in Córdoba, Andalusia, Martínez started playing as a senior with Villanueva CF in the 2006–07 campaign, in Tercera División. He moved to Córdoba CF in January 2007, being assigned to the youth setup. On 7 September 2011 Martínez played his first match as a professional, starting in a 1–0 away win against Real Murcia, for the season's Copa del Rey. He spent the vast majority of his spell playing with the reserves also in the fourth level, however. On 10 July 2012 Martínez joined Lucena CF, in Segunda División B. His career included stints in af2 for the Fresno Frenzy, in the Arena Football League (AFL) for the Dallas Desperados, and in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. Carlos Martínez Ruiz (born 3 July 1997) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for L'Hospitalet as a forward. Club career Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Martínez represented CE Mercantil, RCD Espanyol, FC Barcelona, CF Damm and UE Sant Andreu as a youth. He made his senior debut with the latter during the 2015–16 season in Tercera División, before moving to UE Llagostera's reserves in April 2016.
