Carlos González (American Politician)
Carlos González is a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He was sworn into office in January 2015. A resident of Springfield, Massachusetts, he was elected as a Democratic Party (United States), Democrat to represent the 10th Hampden district. González is president of the Massachusetts Latino Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus, and a former aide to mayor Michael Albano. In early 2023, Gonzalez made the news for the introduction of a bill to allow Massachusetts prisoners to earn time off from their sentences by donating organs or bone marrow. Francisco Carlos González Cabrera (born 20 May 1997) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Atlético Sanluqueño as a right winger. Club career Born in Santa Lucía de Tirajana, Las Palmas, Canary Islands, González joined UD Las Palmas' youth setup in 2015, after representing Atlético Madrid, Real Zaragoza and UD Vecindario. Carlos González Nova (14 August 1917 – 19 August 2009) was a Mexican businessman who co-founded the Comercial Mexicana supermarket chain in 1930. Comercial Mexicana is the third largest supermarket chain in Mexico as of 2009. In 2000, Gonzáles Nova was in charge of a powerboat that killed UK singer Kirsty MacColl in a restricted beach diving area on Cozumel, Mexico. MacColl was struck saving her son from the speeding boat. It was widely reported that the boathand José Cen Yam, who took the blame for the death, was paid to do so by González Nova. Carlos Canseco González (March 17, 1921, in Tampico, Mexico – January 14, 2009, in Monterrey, Mexico) was a Mexican physician and philanthropist. In January 2002 he was honored as one of the "Public Health Heroes of the Americas" by the Pan American Health Organization. Canseco graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) with a doctorate in medicine and specialized in allergy at the Northwestern University and in clinical immunology at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, United States. Back in Mexico he taught the first course of allergology at the University of Nuevo León (UANL) and raised money to build the first Children's Hospital in Monterrey. Carlos Bernardo González Pecotche (August 11, 1901 – April 4, 1963), also known as Raumsol, was an Argentine humanist and thinker. He created and developed logosophy in 1930. Carlos González Ferrer (born June 15, 1972), is a former boxer from Xochimilco, Mexico, and a former WBO world junior welterweight champion. Professional career He began boxing professionally in 1988, and captured the WBO Light Welterweight Title with a TKO victory over Jimmy Paul in 1992.
