Primera División de México ''(Mexican First Division)'' Clausura 2006 is a Mexican football tournament - one of two short tournaments that take up the entire year to determine the champion(s) of Mexican football. It began on Friday, January 20, 2006, and ran until April 30, when the regular season ended. Tecos and San Luis inaugurated the season with a match that resulted in a 2-1 victory for Tecos. On May 21, Pachuca defeated San Luis 1-0 and became champions for the fourth time. Although the team fielded one of two top scorers for this season, Sebastian Abreu, Dorados de Sinaloa was relegated to Primera 'A' in a dramatic last game of regular season against San Luis. The 2009–10 CONCACAF Champions League was the second edition of the CONCACAF Champions League.Under its current format, and overall, it was the 45th edition of the premier football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America and the Caribbean. The tournament began on July 28, 2009, and ran through April 28, 2010. All four Mexican teams topped their groups and reached the semi-finals, with Pachuca winning the final against Cruz Azul with a 2–2 aggregate score, via the away goals rule. The CONCACAF Champions Cup, formerly known as CONCACAF Champions League (2008–2023), is an international association football competition organized by CONCACAF as its top continental tournament for clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The champions automatically qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. The tournament currently uses a knockout format; it had a group stage prior to the 2018 edition. Unlike its European and South American counterparts, the winners of the CONCACAF Champions Cup does not automatically qualify for the following edition of the tournament. The SuperLiga was an annual association football competition in North America between four clubs from the Major League Soccer (United States and Canada) and four clubs from the Primera División (Mexico), the top professional league in each country. The competition was sanctioned by CONCACAF, U.S. Soccer, Canada Soccer and FMF, which served as the regional club tournament for the North American zone under CONCACAF, much like the Copa Interclubes UNCAF for the Central American zone and the CFU Club Championship for the Caribbean zone. The 2006 Copa Sudamericana de Clubes, officially the 2006 Copa Nissan Sudamericana de Clubes for sponsorship reasons, was an international football championship competition that was played by 34 teams in total, including 31 CONMEBOL teams and also three invited teams from CONCACAF. Pachuca won their first title in history after defeating Colo-Colo tying 1–1 in the first leg in Mexico, and winning 2–1 in Chile. Pachuca only lost one game in the tournament, against Colombian Deportes Tolima 2–1 in their debut. This was the second time a Mexican club reached the final, after UNAM lost the 2005 edition to Boca Juniors. Meanwhile, this was also the first time a Chilean club arrived to a final since the tournament's inauguration in 2002. The 2008 CONCACAF Champions' Cup was the 43rd edition of the annual international club football competition held in the CONCACAF region (North America, Central America and the Caribbean), the CONCACAF Champions' Cup. It was the final edition under this name and format, being replaced by the CONCACAF Champions League starting from the 2008–09 season (before being renamed again in 2023). It determined that year's club champion of association football in the CONCACAF region. The tournament was also a qualifying event for the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup.
