Carl Petter Törnebladh
Carl Petter Törnebladh (November 3, 1774 – June 17, 1844) was a Swedish politician and Lord of the Realm, who served as Prime Minister for Justice between 1840 and 1843. Born to Anders Törnebladh, a member of the Bure kinship and Beata Unge. The family had been raised to the untitled nobility in 1720. He received his education at Lund University, earing a degree in law. The prime minister of Sweden (, "minister of state") is the head of government of the Sweden, Kingdom of Sweden. Parliamentary Ombudsman (, , , , ) is the name of the principal ombudsman institutions in Finland, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden (where the term ''justice ombudsman'' – or JO – is also used). The Swedish nobility (, or , ) has historically been a legally or socially privileged Social class, class in Sweden, and part of the so-called ''frälse'' (a derivation from Old Swedish meaning ''free neck''). The archaic term for nobility, ''frälse'', also included the clergy, a classification defined by tax exemptions and representation in the Diet (assembly), diet (the Riksdag of the Estates, Riksdag). The chancellor of justice ( ; JK) is a Swedish government agency (with the agency head holding the same title as the agency name) charged with representing the Government of Sweden in various legal matters as the government's ombudsman. The office was originally created through a decree issued by King Charles XII in 1713. Riksdag of the Estates (; informally ) was the name used for the Estates of Sweden when they were assembled. Until its dissolution in 1866, the institution was the highest authority in Sweden next to the King. Charles XIV John (; 26 January 1763 – 8 March 1844) was King of Sweden and Norway from 1818 until his death in 1844 and the first monarch of the Bernadotte dynasty. In Norway, he is known as Charles III John () and before he became royalty in Sweden, his name was Jean-Baptiste Jules Bernadotte. Bure Kinship
The Bure kinship () is a Scandinavian kinship, centered largely in the Skellefteå and Bureå areas in Northern Sweden. Genealogical origins of the kinship are based to the most part on a Bure family genealogy written in the beginning of the 17th century by Johannes Bureus, in his manuscript ''Om Bura namn och ätt''. The manuscript is stored at Riksarkivet ("State Archives"), and two younger copies of it are held at the Uppsala University Library (numbers X36 and X37). In his genealogy, Bureus included all the family ancestors and descendants, whether male or female and regardless of what social standing or legitimacy each family member might have represented, thus making it possible for many modern-day families to trace their ancestry back to the Bure kinship. Lord Of The Realm
The Lord of the Realm (, ) was a title of honour introduced by Gustavus III, King of Sweden shortly after his coup and the newly passed constitution. The title was granted by the King and was first received by Frederick William, Prince von Hessenstein on 15 January 1773 by letter. One of the most famous title holders was Hans Axel, Count von Fersen, the supposed lover and confidant of Marie Antoinette, Queen of France. The title was not hereditary nor assigned with any function or appointment at the Royal Court or in public life. It was simply meant as a great honour bestowed upon deserving individuals after years of accomplished service to the King and Country.
