Carl Dahlström
Carl Dahlström (born 28 January 1995) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenceman for HC Lugano of the National League (NL). He was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the second round (51st overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Dahlström made his professional debut in Sweden with youth club, Linköping HC during the 2013 European Trophy. On 14 April 2016, Dahlström agreed to a three-year entry-level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. He was immediately assigned to complete the 2015–16 season with AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs. During the 2017–18 season, Dahlström, along with teammate Matthew Highmore, were the only players from Rockford named to the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic. 2017–18 AHL Season
The 2017–18 AHL season was the 82nd season of the American Hockey League. The regular season ran from October 6, 2017, to April 15, 2018. Assist (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, an assist is attributed to up to two players of the scoring team who shot, passed or deflected the Puck (sports)#In ice hockey, puck towards the scoring teammate, or touched it in any other way which enabled the Goal (ice hockey), goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the goal. There can be a maximum of two assists per goal. The assists will be awarded in the order of play, with the last player to pass the puck to the goal scorer getting the primary assist and the player who passed it to the primary assister getting the secondary assist. In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar. The Sports Network (TSN) is a Canadian English language discretionary sports specialty channel owned by the Sports Network Inc., a subsidiary of CTV Specialty Television, which is also a joint venture of Bell Media (70%), also owned by BCE Inc. and ESPN Inc. Paul Stastny (; ) (born December 27, 1985) is a Canadian-American former professional ice hockey center who played 17 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Colorado Avalanche, St. Louis Blues, Winnipeg Jets, Vegas Golden Knights, and Carolina Hurricanes. Of Slovak lineage, Stastny is the son of Peter Šťastný, a Hockey Hall of Famer who played for the Colorado Avalanche's predecessor, the Quebec Nordiques, and finished his career with the St. Louis Blues. 2019–20 NHL Season
The 2019–20 NHL season was the 103rd season of operation (102nd season of play) of the National Hockey League. The regular season began on October 2, 2019, with playoffs originally planned for April and the Stanley Cup Finals planned for June.
