The canton of Les Corbières Méditerranée (, formerly known as the ''canton of Sigean'') is an administrative division of the Aude department, southern France. Its borders were not modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Sigean. Sigean (; ) is a commune in the Aude department in southern France. It formerly laid on ''Route nationale'' 9 between Narbonne and Perpignan, but RN 9 (downgraded to ''route départementale'' 6009) now bypasses the town of Sigean and is itself bypassed by the A9 autoroute. Leucate
Leucate (; ) is a commune in the Aude department in southern France. It lies between the Mediterranean Sea and the lagoon Étang de Leucate. Geography Leucate is on the Mediterranean coast of France.
