Cameron Lund
Cameron Lund (born June 7, 2004) is an American professional ice hockey player for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played college ice hockey at Northeastern. Early life Lund was born on June 7, 2004, in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Lund went to high school at Cushing Academy where played for one season. While there, he played on a line with Collin Graf, who would go on to play for the San Jose Sharks. Playing career Junior During the 2021–22 season, Lund recorded 25 goals and 25 assists in 62 games for the Green Bay Gamblers in the United States Hockey League (USHL). For the 2022–23 season, Lund enrolled at Northeastern University where he played for three seasons. In his junior year at Northeastern, he received Hockey East Third All-Star Team honors. Bridgewater is a town in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States. As of the 2020 U.S. Census, the city's population was 28,633. The historic town center of Bridgewater is located approximately south of Boston, Massachusetts and approximately 35 miles east of Providence, Rhode Island. List Of All-Hockey East Teams
The All-Hockey East Teams are composed of all players from teams that are members of Hockey East, an NCAA Division I hockey-only conference. Each year, from the 1984–85 season onward, at the conclusion of the Hockey East regular season, the head coaches of each team vote for players to be placed on each all-conference team. Hockey East
The Hockey East Association, also known as Hockey East, is a college ice hockey conference which operates entirely in New England. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. Hockey East came into existence in 1984 for men's hockey when most of its current members split from what is today known as ECAC Hockey, after disagreements with the Ivy League members. The women's league began play in 2002. A penalty in ice hockey is a punishment for an infringement of the rules. Most penalties are enforced by sending the offending player to a penalty box for a set number of minutes. During the penalty the player may not participate in play. Penalties are called and enforced by the Official (ice hockey)#Referees, referee, or in some cases, the Official (ice hockey)#Linesmen, linesman. The offending team may not replace the player on the ice (although there are some exceptions, such as fighting), leaving them short handed, short-handed as opposed to full strength. Assist (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, an assist is attributed to up to two players of the scoring team who shot, passed or deflected the Puck (sports)#In ice hockey, puck towards the scoring teammate, or touched it in any other way which enabled the Goal (ice hockey), goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the goal. There can be a maximum of two assists per goal.
