Cabinet Of Tomás Frías II
The Frías II Cabinet constituted the 35th cabinet of the Republic of Bolivia. It was formed on 14 February 1874 after Tomás Frías was sworn in as the 17th president of Bolivia following the death of Adolfo Ballivián, succeeding the Cabinet of Adolfo Ballivián, Ballivián Cabinet. It was dissolved on 4 May 1876 upon Frías' overthrow in a 1876 Bolivian coup d'état, coup d'état and was succeeded by the Cabinet of Hilarión Daza. The president of Bolivia (), officially known as the president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia (), is head of state and head of government of Bolivia and the captain general of the Armed Forces of Bolivia. According to the Bolivian Constitution, the president is elected by popular vote to a five-year term with no limit on the number of terms a president may serve. If no candidate wins a majority (defined as either more than 50%, or alternatively at least 40% and at least 10% more than the second-place candidate), the top two candidates advance to a runoff election. Luis Arce is the 67th and incumbent president of Bolivia. He assumed office on 8 November 2020. The Bolivian Army () is the land force branch of the Armed Forces of Bolivia. Figures on the size and composition of the Bolivian army vary considerably, with little official data available. It is estimated that the army has between 26,000 and 60,000 men.
