Children's Television Act
The broadcast of educational Children's television series, children's programming by terrestrial television stations in the United States is mandated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), under regulations colloquially referred to as the Children's Television Act (CTA), the E/I rules, or the Kid Vid rules. Since 1997, all full-power and Class A television service, Class A low-power broadcast television stations have been required to broadcast at least three hours (or more if they operate digital subchannels) per-week of programs that are specifically designed to meet the Educational television, educational and Information, informative (E/I) needs of children aged 16 and younger. There are also regulations on advertising in broadcast and cable television programming targeting children 12 and younger. The Department of Technology of the state of California, formerly named the California Technology Agency (CTA) is a Department in the Government Operations Agency with statutory authority over information technology (IT) strategic vision and planning, enterprise architecture, policy, and project approval and oversight. Central Texas Airport
Central Texas Airport (CTA) is a proposed airport within the proposed Eco-Merge Green Corporate Center complex in Bastrop County, Texas. It would be in proximity to the intersection of Farm to Market Road 969 and Farm to Market Road 1704, near . The airport is intended to house up to 250 aircraft. It is intended as a site to house private and commercial aircraft and supporting services for both kinds. The Central Texas Airport has faced opposition since it was first proposed and has yet to be approved for development. In November 2020, the CTA tried but failed to convince TCEQ to shut down a mulch and compost facility on 969. The employee-owned facility, called Organics-by-Gosh, does increase the number of birds in the potential flight paths for the potential airport site off FM 969. The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® is North America's largest standards and technology trade organization representing more than 1,200 technology companies. The Consolidated Tape Association (CTA) oversees the Securities Information Processor that disseminates real-time trade and quote information (market data) in New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and American Stock Exchange (AMEX) listed securities (stocks and bonds). It is currently chaired by Emily Kasparov of the Chicago Stock Exchange, the first woman and the youngest chair elected to the position. Columbus Torah Academy (CTA) is a Modern Orthodox Jewish K-12 school in Columbus, Ohio. About Columbus Torah Academy provides a comprehensive college preparatory education and a Judaic studies education for Jewish students in the greater Columbus area. Established in 1958, CTA started with a class of 11 students in the basement of the Agudas Achim Synagogue. With expansion each year, the school grew to include grades K-8, with the first graduating class of eight students in 1966. From 1972-75, Temple Israel was the temporary home to the school. Central Toronto Academy (CTA); formerly Central Commerce Collegiate Institute and originally High School of Commerce and Finance is a public, semestered secondary school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
