Știința Bacău was a Romanian football team located in Bacău, founded in 1965 and dissolved in 1975. The team represented the football section of the multi-sport club CS Știința Bacău, which also include athletics, women's handball, men's handball, women's and men's volleyball sections. The short ten years history of the team was a rich one in memories and successful achievements, advancing quickly from the city championship to second division. History The Bacău Pedagogical Institute football team was founded in August 1965 by the young coach Corneliu Costinescu. Starting from the city championship, the representative of Bacău students occupied the 1st place at the end of the 1965–66 season, advancing in Bacău Regional Championship. Constructorul Galați was a football team from Galați, Galați County, Romania. History Constructorul Galați was a small team, with many names along the history. They never played in the first league of Romanian football. They wrote history in the 1972–73 Cupa României when they played the final as a Divizia C team after they eliminated Steaua București and Dinamo București, the two most important teams in Romanian football, but they lost "The final of the poor" in front of Divizia B team Chimia Râmnicu Vâlcea . Onești
Onești (; ), formerly known as Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej, is a city in Bacău County, Romania, with a population of 34,005 inhabitants as of 2021. It is situated in the historical region of Moldavia. Administratively, the villages of Slobozia and Borzești form part of Onești. History The locality was documentary attested as a village on 14 December 1458. In 1952, the communist authorities decided to build a large petrochemical industrial platform ( Borzești Petrochemical Plant) and a new related city in the area of Onești and Borzești villages. Borzești, according to legend, was the birthplace of Stephen III of Moldavia. It is the site of the Borzești Church, which was built on his orders in 1493–1494. Foresta Fălticeni (also known as ''Foresta Suceava'') was a Romanian professional football club from Fălticeni, Suceava County, Romania, founded in 1954 as ''Avântul Fălticeni'' and subsequently dissolved in 2003.
