Club Sportiv Vedița Colonești M.S., commonly known as Vedița Colonești or simply as Vedița, is a Romanian professional football club based in Colonești, Olt County. The team currently plays in the Liga III. History Vedița Colonești was originally founded in 1982 and play all its existence at amateur level. Atletic Bradu (2008–2019) ''Atletic Bradu'' was founded in 2008 and was based in Bradu, Argeș County, having a kit color combination of white and green. Atletic played in the Liga IV–Argeș County until 2010 when the club won the league and promoted to Liga III. The best performance was 2nd place at the end of the 2016–17 Liga III season. During the 2018–19 winter break, following some misunderstandings with local authorities of Bradu, Atletic moved from Argeș County to Colonești, Olt County. Stadionul Mircea Stan is a multi-purpose stadium in Colonești, Romania, that is currently used mostly for football matches. Gabriel Eugen Matei (born 26 February 1990) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Liga III side Vedița Colonești. Club career Steaua București Gabriel Matei was transferred to Steaua București for a reported transfer fee of €600,000. Pandurii Târgu Jiu will be receiving also €500,000 from a future transfer fee. His career was marked by multiple injuries, thus he missed almost two seasons while at Steaua, having four surgeries in this period. 2013–14 Liga III
The 2013–14 Liga III season is the 58th season of the Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 30 August. There is a new system, with six series of 12 teams that will play a regular season, followed by a play-off and play-out for each series. The regular season is a round-robin tournament. At the end of the regular season, the first six teams from each series will play a Promotion play-off and the winners will qualify to Liga II. The last six teams from each series will play a Relegation play-out. The last three teams from each series, at the end of the play-out, will relegate to Liga IV. The 2014–15 Liga III season is the 59th season of the Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 30 August. There is a new system, with five series of 13/14 teams that will play a regular season as a round-robin tournament. At the end of the regular season, the first team from each series will be promoted to Liga II. The last two teams from the series with 14 teams and the last one from the series with 13 teams will relegate to Liga IV. From the 12th placed teams, another three are relegated. To determine these teams, separate standings are computed, using only the games played against clubs ranked 1st through 11th. 2019–20 Liga III
The 2019–20 Liga III was the 64th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season was initially scheduled to begin on 24 August 2019 and to end on 30 May 2020. The season was interrupted on 9 March 2020, after 16 rounds, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania, COVID-19 pandemic. After two months of inactivity, on 11 May 2020, the Romanian Football Federation announced that the season was discontinued and the best ranked teams from each series (after 16 rounds) were promoted to Liga II, only if the distance between the leader and the runner-up was bigger than 3 points. Otherwise promotion play-offs will be played between the best two teams of the series.
