The City Rail Link (CRL) is a rail project currently under construction in Auckland, New Zealand. The project consists of a double-track rail tunnel underneath Auckland's city centre, between Britomart and Maungawhau (Mount Eden) railway stations. Two new underground stations will be constructed to serve the city centre: Te Waihorotiu near Aotea Square and Karanga-a-Hape near Karangahape Road. Britomart, officially renamed Waitematā, will be converted from a terminus station into a through station, and Mount Eden station will be replaced by Maungawhau station, a new station with four platforms to serve as an interchange between the new CRL line and the existing Western Line. The current project is an adapted version of previous proposals to improve rail access to Auckland's city centre with the first proposals dating back to the 1920s. The increase in rail patronage in Auckland during the early 21st century, particularly after the opening of Britomart Transport Cen ...

Crown-rump Length
Crown-rump length (CRL) is the measurement of the length of human embryos and fetuses from the top of the head (crown) to the bottom of the buttocks (rump). It is typically determined from ultrasound imagery and can be used to estimate gestational age. Introduction The embryo and fetus float in the amniotic fluid inside the uterus of the mother usually in a curved posture resembling the letter ''C''. The measurement can actually vary slightly if the fetus is temporarily stretching (straightening) its body. The measurement needs to be in the natural state with an unstretched body which is actually ''C'' shaped. The measurement of CRL is useful in determining the gestational age (menstrual age starting from the first day of the last menstrual period) and thus the expected date of delivery (EDD). Different human fetuses grow at different rates and thus the gestational age is an approximation. Recent evidence has indicated that CRL growth (and thus the approximation of gestational ...

Complete Response Letter
In United States pharmaceutical regulatory practice, a Complete Response Letter (CRL), or more rarely, a 314.110 letter, is a regulatory action by the Food and Drug Administration in response to a New Drug Application, Amended New Drug Application or Biologics License Application, indicating that the application will not be approved in its present form. CRLs replaced approvable letters in 2018. Background Under the Prescription Drug User Fee Act, the Food and Drug Administration has a limited timespan (known as the PDUFA date) to decide a New Drug Application, Abbreviated New Drug Application or Biologics License Application. The FDA may either approve the application or issue a Complete Response Letter. Grounds behind issuing a CRL may include labeling issues, current Good Manufacturing Practice concerns or concerns about the safety or effectiveness of the drug. A sponsor receiving CRL may withdraw the application, request a hearing or resubmit the application. Because heari ...

Certificate Revocation List
In cryptography, a certificate revocation list (CRL) is "a list of digital certificates that have been revoked by the issuing certificate authority (CA) before their scheduled expiration date and should no longer be trusted". Publicly trusted CAs in the Web PKI are required (including by the CA/Browser forum) to issue CRLs for their certificates, and they widely do. Browsers and other relying parties might use CRLs, or might use alternate certificate revocation technologies (such as Online Certificate Status Protocol, OCSP) or CRLSets (a dataset derived from CRLs) to check certificate revocation status. Note that OCSP is falling out of favor due to privacy and performance concerns. Subscribers and other parties can also use ARI. Revocation states There are two different states of revocation defined in RFC 5280: ; Revoked: A certificate is irreversibly revoked if, for example, it is discovered that the certificate authority (CA) had improperly issued a certificate, or if a pri ...
