COVID Recovery Group
The COVID Recovery Group (CRG) was an informal group of Conservative Party (UK), Conservative MPs in the United Kingdom who opposed the UK government's decision to introduce a second period of lockdown measures for England during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom, COVID-19 pandemic, and who voted against the restrictions. The group was chaired by Mark Harper, a former Chief Whip, with Steve Baker (politician), Steve Baker as Deputy Chair. History Formation Established on 10 November 2020, the group's aim is to challenge the use of blanket lockdown measures, and argue for a different approach to dealing with the pandemic. The group was reported to have been formed by fifty MPs, but as of 11 November was reportedly composed of seventy MPs. The organization's online appearance is that of a mainstream health organization.. Newton Abbot is a market town and civil parish on the River Teign in the Teignbridge District of Devon, England. Its population was 24,029 in 2011, and was estimated at 26,655 in 2019.
