CMLL Día De Muertos (2019)
The 2019 CMLL Día de Muertos was a lineup of two professional wrestling supercard events, scripted and produced by the Mexican ''Lucha Libre'' promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), held to celebrate the Mexican Day of the Dead. The shows took place on November 1 and November 3, 2019, in CMLL's main venue, Arena México, in Mexico City, Mexico. Many of the wrestlers working the shows wore traditional Día de Muertos face and body paint for the event. Losing wrestlers from each show were dragged to ''El Inframundo'' ("The Underworld"; in actuality a side entrance in the arena) by a group of wrestlers dressed up as minions of the ruler of the underworld. It was the sixth annual Día de Muertos celebration hosted by CMLL. Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The promotion was previously known as (EMLL) (''Mexican Wrestling Enterprise''). Founded in 1933, it is the oldest professional wrestling promotion still in existence. Microman (also stylized as Micro Man; born September 30, 1998) is the ring name of a Mexican masked professional wrestler (''luchador enmascarado'' in Spanish), who is currently under contract with Major League Wrestling (MLW) and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) and makes sporadic appearances with Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). He previously worked for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Torneo Cibernetico
A ''torneo cibernetico'' is a multi-man professional wrestling elimination match that was created and primarily used in Mexican ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotions, especially in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The match format sees two teams of varying sizes face off against each other. It uses standard ''lucha libre'' tag team rules with elimination occurring with a pinfall, submission, disqualification and count out and allows a wrestler to enter the match when their tag team partner exits the ring as well as when they tag out. A special 'batting' order system is used in which the wrestlers are given a specific order and may only tag in and out in this order. In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy", "good-doer", or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans.
