CF Intercity
Club de Fútbol Intercity is a List of football clubs in Spain, Spanish football team based in Alicante, in the Valencian Community. The club plays in , holding home matches at the ''Estadio Antonio Solana'', with a capacity of 2,000 spectators. History Intercity was created in 2017 by changing the structure of GCD Sant Joan d'Alacant. In June 2018, after being promoted to Regional Preferente, the club aimed to play in Tercera División by merging with Novelda CF but the Royal Spanish Football Federation rejected this. Also that month, Intercity announced its intention to be the first Spanish football club to be listed on the stock market. In 2019, Intercity were promoted to Tercera División as regional champion, thus qualifying for the first time for the Copa del Rey. 2021–22 Segunda División RFEF
The 2021–22 Segunda División RFEF season was the first for the Segunda División RFEF, the new fourth highest level in the Spanish football league system. It supplanted Tercera División, which downgraded to the fifth tier as Tercera División RFEF and succeeded the old Segunda División B, which was replaced by Primera División RFEF as the third level of the pyramid. Ninety teams will participate, divided into five groups of eighteen clubs each based on geographical proximity. In each group, the champions automatically promoted to Primera División RFEF, and the second to fifth placers will play promotion play-offs. The last five teams in each group will be relegated to the Tercera División RFEF; in addition, the four worst teams classified 13th in their group will play play-offs to define the last two relegation places. Emilio Nsue López (born 30 September 1989) is a professional footballer who plays for Primera Federación club Intercity. Born in Spain, he is the captain and all-time leading scorer of the Equatorial Guinea national team. A versatile player, he plays mainly as a right-back but can also play as a winger. Florian Marc Jozefzoon (born 9 February 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Spanish Primera Federación club Intercity. 2022–23 Copa Del Rey
The 2022–23 Copa del Rey was the 121st staging of the Copa del Rey (including two seasons where two rival editions were played), the oldest official football competition in Spain. The winners of the competition would have automatically qualified for the 2023–24 UEFA Europa League group stage; however, as Real Madrid had already qualified for European competition via league standings, their place was passed down to the sixth-placed team in La Liga and the UEFA Europa Conference League spot reserved for the sixth-placed team was awarded to the team who finished seventh in the league.
