C.D. Real Sociedad
Club Deportivo Real Sociedad, commonly known as Real Sociedad (), is a Honduran professional football club based on Tocoa, Colón. History Real Sociedad reached the Liga Nacional de Ascenso (the Honduran second flight) in 1988, and played there until the 2011–2012 season. Their success in that season saw them earn promotion to the top flight. In their first season, the 2012 Apertura ( first season), they finished dead last and were in serious danger of instant relegation. The team's board of directors began replenishing the team with a host of signings. First came Julio César de León, an attacking midfielder and free kick specialist then playing in Italy. Next came midfielder Elkin González, forward Juan Cárcamo, and keeper Sandro Carcamo. All these players were on the older side, but their experience steeled the team. Aguán River
The Aguán River (); also commonly known by its Spanish name, Rio Aguán) is a river in Honduras. It rises in the Yoro region to the west of San Lorenzo and briefly runs south before turning east-northeast, passing San Lorenzo, Olanchito and Tocoa before entering the Caribbean Sea east of Puerto Castilla. Honduran Liga Nacional De Ascenso
Liga de Ascenso (Promotion League) is the Honduran football league system, second division of Honduran association football, football; it was founded on 17 December 1979 as ''Segunda División'' (Second Division) and renamed ''Liga de Ascenso'' (Promotion League) on 21 July 2002. The league is divided into 4 groups: ''Zona Norte y Atlántica'' (North and Atlantic Zone), ''Zona Norte y Occidente'' (North and West Zone), ''Zona Centro y Sur'' (Central and South Zone), ''Zona Sur y Oriente'' (South and East Zone). Diego Reyes
Diego Antonio Reyes Rosales (; born 19 September 1992) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga MX club Tigres UANL. He is an Olympic gold medalist. Reyes made his professional debut with Club América in April 2010. Three years later, he was transferred to Porto. Reyes went on to play for Real Sociedad, Espanyol, Fenerbahçe, and Leganés, but struggled to establish himself. He returned to Mexico in August 2019 and signed with Tigres UANL. 2015 Honduran Cup
The 2015 Honduran Cup was the 10th staging of the Honduran Cup and the first edition since 1998. Club Deportivo Olimpia are the defending champions. The 2015 Honduran Cup is referred to as the Copa Presidente de Honduras for sponsorship reasons. The cup is a creation of the Honduran government funded by money allocated to national security fund. Its purpose is to support the growth of sport to detract the youth from vices and to promote national tourism for rural towns. The cup was contested by 64 teams from the top 3 divisions of the country. There was a total of 10 teams from La Liga Nacional (First Division), 27 from Liga de Ascenso (Second Division) and 27 from Liga Mayor (Third Division). Raúl Martínez Sambulá (born 14 March 1963) is a former Honduran professional football player, who made his name with the national team in the early 1990s. Club career Martínez Sambulá started his career at Olimpia and then moved abroad for a lengthy spell at Mexican side UA Tamaulipas. He returned to Honduras in 1994 to finish his career at Victoria. The Honduran Cup was the top knock-out Association football, football tournament in Honduras.
