Bumblescratch
''Bumblescratch'' is an original sung-through musical with book, music and lyrics by Robert J. Sherman. The musical premiered at the Adelphi Theatre in London on 4 September 2016 as a one night, celebrity gala charity event in aid of Variety, the Children's Charity (UK). This was done as part of weekend commemorations of the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London. The staged concert was directed and choreographed by Stewart Nicholls with music direction by Tom Kelly, orchestrations by Rowland Lee and design by Gabriella Slade. An Original Cast Recording which includes musical highlights from the show was recorded at Angel Recording Studios on September 12–13, 2016 in Islington, London. The album was mixed and mastered between September 14 – November 11 in Kent and released by SimG Records on December 19, 2016. Jessica Martin
Jessica Cecelia Anna Maria Martin (born 25 August 1962) is an English actress, singer, and impressionist whose career has diversified to include comic writing and illustrating. Her television roles have included ''Spitting Image'', '' Copy Cats'' and as the werewolf Mags in the 1988 ''Doctor Who'' serial '' The Greatest Show in the Galaxy''. She provided the voice of the Queen in the 2007 ''Doctor Who'' Christmas special, "Voyage of the Damned". Sebastian Croft
Sebastian Theodore Kemble Croft (born 16 December 2001) is a British actor. He began his career as a child actor on stage before making his television debut as Young Ned Stark in ''Game of Thrones'' (2016). He earned a BAFTA Children's Award nomination for his role as Atti in '' Horrible Histories: The Movie – Rotten Romans'' (2019). Rowland Lee (composer)
Rowland Edward Lee (born August 19, 1960) is a composer, pianist and conductor. In addition to his many published concert works, he is also one of the US's premier TV, theatre and media composers and musical arrangers with over 600 episodes of various series and short films to his credit. Lee is perhaps best known for writing the theme song of the animated TV series ''Pablo the Little Red Fox'', ''64 Zoo Lane'' and for his orchestration of Sir Matthew Bourne's '' Swan Lake'' which is currently the most performed dance production in the world. Early life Lee was born in Woking, Surrey to parents Brian and Dilys Lee (née Lucas). Adelphi Theatre
The Adelphi Theatre is a West End theatre, located on the Strand in the City of Westminster, central London. The present building is the fourth on the site. The theatre has specialised in comedy and musical theatre, and today it is a receiving house for a variety of productions, including many musicals. James Yeoburn (born 30 December 1989) is an English producer and entrepreneur. A Spoonful Of Sherman
''A Spoonful of Sherman'' is a musical revue which premiered on January 6, 2014 at the St. James Theatre in London and which is currently poised for its first UK/Ireland tour. Originally produced, written and emceed by Robert J. Sherman, ''A Spoonful of Sherman'' first served as the UK book launch for Sherman's father's (posthumously released) autobiography: '' Moose: Chapters From My Life'' for which Sherman was also the book's editor. After each performance of that original run, Sherman participated in a book signing after the show. The show was billed as "A Celebration of the Life, Times and Songs of Robert B. Sherman" and was received extremely well by the crowd and the critics alike. Great Fire Of London
The Great Fire of London was a major conflagration that swept through central London from Sunday 2 September to Thursday 6 September 1666, gutting the medieval City of London inside the old Roman city wall, while also extending past the wall to the west. The death toll is generally thought to have been relatively small, although some historians have challenged this belief. The fire started in a bakery in Pudding Lane shortly after midnight on Sunday 2 September, and spread rapidly. The use of the major firefighting technique of the time, the creation of firebreaks by means of removing structures in the fire's path, was critically delayed due to the indecisiveness of the Lord Mayor, Sir Thomas Bloodworth.
