Bu Xiangzhi (; born December 10, 1985) is a Chinese chess player. In 1999, he became the 10th grandmaster from China at the age of 13 years, 10 months and 13 days, at the time the youngest in history. In April 2008, Bu and Ni Hua became the second and third Chinese players to pass the 2700 Elo rating line, after Wang Yue. Bu was Chinese champion in 2004. Bu Hua (; born 1973) is a digital artist based in Beijing, China, best known for her flash animation works. Early life and education Bu was born in 1973. The daughter of a well-known printblock artist, Bu had an early introduction to art and in 1983, when only 10 years old, her painting ''Sun Bird Flower and I'' was selected by the China Post and issued as a stamp as part of a "children's paintings election" (special stamp T86). Following just a few years later in 1985, the Hong Kong Arts Centre hosted a small exhibition wall of Bu's work. Bu Xin (Chinese: 卜鑫; born 17 May 1987) is a Chinese football player who currently plays for China League One side Heilongjiang Ice City. Club career In 2006, Bu Xin started his professional footballer career with Liaoning Whowin in the Chinese Super League. In 2007, he moved to S. League side Liaoning Guangyuan on a one-year loan deal. Bu Wancang (July 1, 1900 – December 30, 1973), also known by his English name Richard Poh, was a prolific Chinese film director and screenwriter active between the 1920s and the 1960s. He was born in Anhui. Career Originally a member of the Shanghai cinema scene, Bu worked for several studios before becoming a major director for the Mingxing Film Company. By 1931, Bu moved to Mingxing's rival, Lianhua, where he directed such films as '' Love and Duty'' (1931) and ''The Peach Girl'' (1931) (both with actress Ruan Lingyu). As the war with Japan intensified Bu made several films with subtle patriotic themes, most notably 1939's '' Mulan Joins the Army''. Boh Soon Ho
On 21 March 2016, 28-year-old Zhang Huaxiang (; 6 November 1987 – 21 March 2016), a China-born nurse working in Singapore, was murdered by her close male friend Boh Soon Ho (), a Malaysian working as a cafeteria worker in Singapore. Boh's motive behind the murder was due to him feeling jealous over Zhang, whom he considered his girlfriend, not reciprocating his feelings and went out with another man, which caused him to use a towel to strangle Zhang in a fit of anger, and he even tried having sex on her corpse. After the killing, Boh escaped to his native state of Melaka before his arrest two weeks later, and he was extradited to Singapore to face charges of murder, dishonestly misappropriating Zhang's belongings and having sex on her corpse.
