Bryce Goggin is an American record producer and sound engineer. His career began in the early 1990s, working at Baby Monster Studios. He first received note for mixing the album ''Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain'' by Pavement. Grand Avenue (band)
Grand Avenue is a Danish rock band formed in 2001. The band consists of Rasmus Walter (vocals, guitar), Niels-Kristian Bærentzen (guitar), Marc Stebbing (bass) and Hjalte Thygesen (drums). History The four band members met at a musical college in London in 1997. Frontman Rasmus Walter and lead guitarist Bærentzen started to write songs together, and with the addition of Stebbing and Thygesen Grand Avenue was formed. The band released a single in 2003 called "What's on Your Mind", which became "Ugens Uundgåelige" (the most played number on the radio station for a week) on Danish Radio P3 and caught the attention of EMI. Johnny Society
Johnny Society is an American rock band from New York City. Biography Johnny Society was formed in 1996 by multi-instrumentalist Kenny Siegal and Brian Geltner. They released a self-titled album as Hunk on Geffen in 1996, but disbanded less than a year after their album came out, only for Siegal and Geltner to reunite shortly thereafter under their new identity. Meanwhile, they had already begun experimenting and writing songs on the side with Indian-trained musician Chris Rael in a project they called The Hand, which released an album (''Mule Me'') before re-forming Johnny Society. Leah Coloff
Leah Coloff is an American singer-songwriter, and cellist who lives in Brooklyn, New York City, United States. Biography Leah Coloff started cello lessons at the age of six. She attended the New England Conservatory. However, she became disillusioned, finding "the recital halls stuffed with haughty academics and enema-lovin' white people...", and found herself drawn to more raucous, darker music, and moved to Brooklyn, New York upon graduating. In 1999 she produced her debut rock album, ''Dark Sweet Heart'' under Searching Eye Records. It was recorded at Fireproof Recording in Brooklyn by Adam Lasus. Antony and the Johnsons is an American music group presenting the work of Anohni and her collaborators. Career British experimental musician David Tibet of Current 93 heard a demo and offered to release Anohni's music through his Durtro label. Anohni started the band, its name inspired by trans activist Marsha P. Johnson. The debut album, ''Antony and the Johnsons'', was released in 1998. In 2001, while still known as Antony Hegarty, Anohni/Hegarty released a short follow-up EP, ''I Fell in Love with a Dead Boy'', which, in addition to the title track, included a cover of "Mysteries of Love", a David Lynch/Angelo Badalamenti song and "Soft Black Stars", a Current 93 cover. Bettie Serveert is a Dutch indie rock band. The name translates to "Bettie Serves", or "Service to Bettie", which is the title of a book written by Dutch tennis player Betty Stöve, who made it to the Wimbledon Ladies Singles final in 1977. Lucibel Crater is a band from Brooklyn, New York. Their style is different from song to song but blends live electronic music, alternative rock, and indie rock. The Spring Standards is an independent three-piece folk-rock band based in New York City. Biography James Cleare, Heather Robb, and James Smith first sang together in the last summer of the 20th century. Having just turned 16, the three teens with a common affinity for "oldies" music and harmony spent the better part of the next two years playing shows around the Delaware/Pennsylvania area. Influenced as much by their parent's record collections as they were by what they heard on the radio, their style began to take shape into something a little bit both and a little bit neither. Akron/Family were an American folk-influenced experimental rock band active from 2002 to 2013. Former members have lived in Portland, Oregon; Los Angeles, California; and Joshua Tree, California. Phish
Phish is an American rock band formed in Burlington, Vermont, in 1983. The band is known for musical improvisation, extended jams, blending of genres, and a dedicated fan base. The band consists of guitarist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, drummer Jon Fishman, and keyboardist Page McConnell, all of whom perform vocals, with Anastasio being the lead vocalist.
