Bruno Weber Park
Bruno Weber Park is a sculpture park in the Swiss Municipalities of the canton of Zürich, municipalities Spreitenbach and Dietikon, and besides the Fahr Abbey one of the visitor attractions in the Limmat Valley. The sculpture garden is designed as a ''Gesamtkunstwerk'' of the Swiss artist Bruno Weber (1931–2011). Architecture The park covers an area of and has been extended on the grounds of the former estate of Bruno Weber's parent. Over the years, it was decorated with dozens of columns, reliefs, heads and gargoyles. A tower at the entrance area and the estate tower were also built, being landmarks overlooking the Limmat Valley. The family's estate was re-built in a "fairy-tale castle", with colorful mosaics and decorated animal sculptures. Dietikon
Dietikon is the fifth biggest city of the canton of Zürich in Switzerland, after Zürich, Winterthur, Uster and Dübendorf. It is the capital of the same-named district of Dietikon and part of the Zürich metropolitan area. Geography The industrial city Dietikon is situated at an elevation of at the confluence of the Reppisch and the Limmat, located in the Limmat Valley (German: ''Limmattal''), along the railway line from Zürich to Baden. Franz Hohler
Franz Hohler (born 1 March 1943) is a Swiss author and cabaret performer based in Zürich. Life Hohler is the author of one-man programs and satirical programs for television and radio. He has written theater pieces, children's books, stories and novels. In 2002, he received the Kassel Literary Prize for Grotesque Humor, in 2005 the Art Prize of Zurich, in 2014 the Johann-Peter-Hebel-Preis. One of Hohler's most famous works is the "Totemügerli". Tinguely Museum
The Museum Tinguely is an art museum in Basel, Switzerland that contains a permanent exhibition of the works of Swiss painter and sculptor Jean Tinguely. Located in the Solitudepark by the Rhine, the museum was designed by the Ticinese architect Mario Botta and opened on 3 October 1996. A variety of Tinguely's kinetic art sculptures are on permanent display, complemented with illustrations, photographs and other documents related to the artist's life and work. Tinguely's wife, Niki de Saint Phalle has donated 55 sculptures to the museum.
