Brookfield is a rural residential suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In the , Brookfield had a population of 3,524 people. Geography Brookfield is located approximately west of the Brisbane CBD. Brookfield lies approximately north of the Brisbane River. Moggill Creek flows through Brookfield and joins the Brisbane River at Kenmore. Brookfield is a rural residential suburb consisting primarily of large acreage properties and luxury homes. Although there are a small number of farms, the vast majority of property is residential. Moggill Road passes through the southernmost tip of the suburb and Moggill Creek marks part of the suburb's eastern boundary. The Bible Christian Church was a Methodist denomination founded by William O’Bryan, a Wesleyan Methodist local preacher, on 18 October 1815 in North Cornwall. The Turrbal are an Aboriginal Australian people from the region of present-day Brisbane, Queensland. The name primarily referred to the dialect they spoke, the tribe itself being alternatively called ''Mianjin/Meanjin''. Mianjin was the Turrbal word for the central Brisbane area. The traditional homelands of the Turrbal stretch from the North Pine River, south to the Logan River, and inland as far as Moggill, a range which includes the city of Brisbane. D'Aguilar National Park is a national park in Queensland, Australia. It contains the D'Aguilar Range and is located along the northwest of the Brisbane metropolitan area.
