Bessaker
Bessaker is a coastal fishing village in the municipality of Åfjord in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located north of the Brandsfjorden, about a drive (to the southwest) to the village of Roan and about a drive (to the northeast) to the village of Steinsdalen in neighboring Osen municipality. The village of Bessaker has about 200 inhabitants. Bessaker has a good harbor and it was previously visited regularly by the Hurtigruten, but today the ships call there on special occasions only, such as the annual fisheries festival, the ''Fiskefestivalen''. The Kaura Lighthouse lies about west of the village and the islands of Skjervøya or is an island in Skjervøy Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. Skjervøya (Trøndelag)
Skjærvøya are two connected islands in the municipality of Osen in Trøndelag county, Norway. It consists of the islands of ''Ytre Skjærvøya'' and ''Indre Skjærvøya'', which are connected by a long stone causeway. There are about 20 people living on the islands. The islands lie about north of the village of Bessaker in Roan municipality and about west of the village of Osen. Kaura Lighthouse
Kaura Lighthouse ( no, Kaura fyr) is a coastal lighthouse in the municipality of Åfjord in Trøndelag county, Norway. The tall tower is located on the small island of Kaura in the mouth of the Brandsfjorden about west of the village of Bessaker and about northwest of the village of Roan. The lighthouse was built in 1931 and automated in 1959. The red, cylindrical, cast iron tower has one white stripe around it and a white, stone foundation. The light sits at the top, at an elevation of above sea level. The 4,050-candela light emits two flashes every 10 seconds, flashing white, red, or green depending on direction. It can be seen for . The village is located along the Norwegian Sea on the west coast of the Fosen peninsula, about south of the nearby coastal village of Bessaker. ''Hurtigruten'' (), formally Kystruten Bergen-Kirkenes ("coastal route Bergen- Kirkenes"), is a Norwegian public coastal route transporting passengers that travel locally, regionally and between the ports of call, and also cargo between ports north of Tromsø.
