''The Raccoons'' is a Canadian animated television series that ran on CBC Television, CBC from November 11, 1985 to March 19, 1991 in Canada and on The Disney Channel, Disney Channel from July 4, 1985 to August 28, 1992 in the U.S., with three preceding television specials from its inception in 1980, and one direct-to-video special in 1984. Gerard Hugh "Leo" Sayer (born 21 May 1948) is an English-Australian singer and songwriter whose singing career has spanned five decades. He has been an Australian citizen and resident since 2009. Carl Banas (born January 23, 1929) is a Toronto-born retired radio personality and actor. He is best known for his voice roles in ''Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer'' (1964) and '' The Raccoons: Let’s Dance!'' (1985).
