Billy Barnie
William Harrison Barnie (January 26, 1853 – July 15, 1900), nicknamed "Bald Billy", was an American manager and catcher in Major League Baseball. Born in New York City, he played as a right fielder in the National Association in 1874–75. In 1883 he became manager of the Baltimore Orioles of the American Association; he appeared as a backup catcher that season, and also played two games in 1886, but otherwise did not take the field. After leaving the Orioles following the 1891 season, he managed the Washington Senators (1892), Louisville Colonels (1893–94) and Brooklyn Bridegrooms (1897–98). His career managerial record consists of 632 wins and 810 losses. His best finish was third place with the 1887 Orioles. Barnie died in Hartford, Connecticut at the age of 47, of pneumonia complicated by asthmatic bronchitis, and was interred at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York. Abraham Johannes Stefanus 'Barnie' Boonzaaier (born 19 April 1992 in Pretoria, South Africa) is a South African rugby union player, currently playing with the . He can play as a hooker or a flanker. Career Youth Boonzaaier was on the books of East Rand-based side the in 2012 and was included in the squad for the 2012 Under-21 Provincial Championship, but failed to make an appearance. In 2013, his home province were included in national competitions and Boonzaaier represented the side in the 2013 Under-21 Provincial Championship, making three appearances as his side finished third in Group B during the regular season to qualify for the semi-final. John Barnhill (American Football)
John Henry "Barnie" Barnhill (February 23, 1903 – October 21, 1973) was an American football player and coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head coach at the University of Tennessee (1941–1945) and the University of Arkansas (1946–1949), compiling a record of 54–22–5. Tennessee Barnhill was an All-Southern lineman under coach Robert Neyland at the University of Tennessee, including the SoCon champion 1927 team. As a player, he weighed 175 pounds. Coaching and administrative career Barnhill was the head coach for the University of Tennessee for four seasons from 1941 to 1945. He coached the team during World War II, managing the squad during the absence of General Robert Neyland, who left for the war. During that period he led Tennessee to a record of 32–5–2.
