Banu Zayd ( ar, بنو زيد) is a Najdi tribe that traces its roots to Zayd who settled Shaqraa in Najd.Banu Zayd, al-qabilah al-Quda 'iyah fi hadirat Najd by Shuqayr, Abd al-Rahman ibn Abd Allah. Shaqra ( ar, شقراء) is a town in central Saudi Arabia, The city is located about 190 kilometers north-west of the capital Riyadh.
