Błażej Telichowski (born 6 June 1984) is a Polish former professional Association football, footballer. Mainly deployed as a Defender (association football), defender, he switched to a Striker (association football), forward position in the final years of his career. Club career He started his professional career with Lech Poznań. In May 2011, he joined Zagłębie Lubin on a two-year contract. International career Telichowski was also a member of Poland national under-21 football team, Poland U21 team. Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski (), previously Groclin Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski, was a Polish football club based in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, Greater Poland Voivodeship. History Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski was founded on 30 April 1922. Its logo shows the ''Discobolus''. During World War II, Stanisław Zdzisław Kozłowski, co-founder of the club, was among Poles murdered by the Russians in the large Katyn massacre in April–May 1940. After several decades in lower league football, the club was taken over in the mid-1990s by Zbigniew Drzymała, president of the Inter Groclin Auto company, and enjoyed an instant string of promotions culminating in the promotion to top level football in 1997. The Socca EuroCup is an international socca competition contested by the men's national teams of Europe, the members of International Socca Federation. History The first ever Socca EuroCup was played in Moldova between 29 March and 2 April 2023. 13 teams from across Europe took part in it. All games were held at the FMF Beach Soccer Arena. In the qualifying, Romania and Georgia finish as group winners. They automatically qualify for the 2023 Socca World Cup. Albania and Cyprus played in the 3rd place match. Albania have won and secured the final qualifying slot for the World Cup. In the main competition, Georgia and Croatia facing off in the 3rd place match. Ekstraklasa Cup
The Ekstraklasa Cup () was an elimination tournament for Polish football clubs that played in the Polish Ekstraklasa. The Ekstraklasa Cup was the fourth attempt at introducing a League Cup competition in Poland. The first such tournament was a one-off tournament held in 1952 which Wawel Kraków won. Two other tournaments have also been held, the League Cup (1977–1978) and the Polish League Cup (1999–2002), these two tournaments mainly being cancelled due to a lack of interest from fans. A League Cup competition was again tried with the Ekstraklasa Cup in 2006, however this tournament again saw little interest from fans and the cup competition was cancelled in 2009 after the broadcasting rights expired.
