Bùi Thị Ngà
Bùi Thị Ngà (born August 15, 1994 in Ninh Bình Province, Ninh Bình) is a former member of the Vietnam women's national volleyball team. She was the captain of Bộ Tư lệnh Thông tin, Bộ Tư lệnh Thông tin Women's Volleyball Club. Biography & Career Ngà was born in 1994 in Khánh Cường, Yên Khánh District, Yên Khánh, Ninh Bình. Ngà played for the club Thông tin Liên Việt Post Bank. In 2011, she played in the Vietnam's National Youth Team. After a year, she was given an official competitive spot by the team's coaches. At ASIAD 2018, Ngà – along with Trần Thị Thanh Thúy – were the two athletes who scored the most points for Vietnam's team after 6 matches. Volleyball Vietnam League
The Volleyball Vietnam League () is the top-level volleyball league for both men and women in Vietnam. It is organized by the Volleyball Federation of Vietnam. The champion team qualifies for the Men's or Women's AVC Champions League. 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix – Second Leg
The 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix is the inaugural edition of the ASEAN Grand Prix, a new annual international women's volleyball tournament which is contested by 4 national teams that are the members of the Southeast Asian Volleyball Association (SAVA), the sport's regional governing body affiliated to Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). The first leg was held in Thailand at the Terminal 21 Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 20 to 22 September 2019. The second leg was played at Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines from 4 to 6 October 2019. Teams Four national teams featured in the 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix. 2018 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup
The 2018 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup, so-called 2018 AVC Cup for Women was the sixth edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Cup, Asian Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The tournament was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 16 to 23 September 2018. As hosts, Thailand automatically qualified for the tournament, while the remaining 9 teams, qualified from the 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship in Biñan and Muntinlupa, Philippines. Qualification The ten AVC member associations participated in the tournament with Thailand already qualified as host country, and the nine remaining teams qualified from the 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship. The 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship was the nineteenth edition of the Asian Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI). The tournament was held in both Biñan and Muntinlupa, Philippines from 9 to 17 August 2017. Qualification The fourteen AVC member associations were from four zonal associations: Central Asia (4 teams), East Asia (5 teams), Oceania (2 teams), and Southeast Asia (3 teams). West Asian teams did not submit any of their women's national teams. Qualified teams The following teams qualified for the tournament. Maldives qualified for their first tournament.
