Bél (genus)
Beliu () is a commune in Arad County, Romania. Beliu commune lies in the contact zone of Teuz Plateau with Mărăuș Hills, along the river Beliu. It is composed of six villages: Beliu (situated at 77 km from Arad), Benești (''Benyefalva''), Bochia (''Boklya''), Vasile Goldiș (''Lunca Teuzului'' until 2005, and until 1968 a separate commune called ''Mocirla''; ''Bélmocsolya''), Secaci (''Felsőszakács'') and Tăgădău (''Tagadómedgyes''). The Beliu () is a left tributary of the river Crișul Negru in Romania. Formerly a right tributary of the Teuz, its flow is now diverted by a canal towards the Crișul Negru near Tăut, built in 1914–1919. Its length is and its basin size is . Vasile Goldiș
Vasile Goldiș (12 November 1862 – 10 February 1934) was a Romanian politician, social theorist, and member of the Romanian Academy. Early life He was born on 12 November 1862 in his grandfather's (Teodor Goldiș) house in the village of Mocirla. His parents were Isaia and Floarea Goldiș. The family of his father had its origins in the Chișcău village, Bihor County. Around 1740 Teodor Goldiș moved with his family to Mocirla where Vasile Goldiș was born. The first years of his life were spent in the villages of Mocirla, Seleuș, and Cermei in the house of his parents and grandparents. He started primary school in the village of Cermei in 1869 where he studied the first two grades in Romanian with his teacher Nicolae Albu. He studied the third grade at the general school in Padanul Nou (now Horea, Arad County). Nicolae Pantea (born 12 February 1946) is a Romanian former footballer and manager. Club career Nicolae Pantea was born on 12 February 1946 in Beliu, Arad County, Romania and he started to play junior level football in 1961 at Rapid Arad for three years, afterwards moving at UTA Arad where he made his Divizia A debut on 30 August 1964 under coach Coloman Braun-Bogdan in a 3–0 away loss against Steagul Roșu Brașov. He reached with UTA the 1966 Cupa României final in which coach Nicolae Dumitrescu used him all the minutes, however they lost with 4–0 in front of Steaua București. Shortly afterwards Pantea went to play for Steaua, a team with whom he won the 1967–68 Divizia A title in which coach Ștefan Kovács used him in six matches, also helping the club win four Cupa României.
