Butuan
Butuan (pronounced ), officially the City of Butuan (; Butuanon: ''Dakbayan hong Butuan''; ), is a highly urbanized city and the regional center of Caraga, Philippines. It is the '' de facto'' capital of the province of Agusan del Norte where it is geographically situated but has an administratively independent government. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 372,910 people making it the most populous city in Caraga Region. It served as the former capital of the Rajahnate of Butuan before 1001 until about 1521. The city used to be known during that time as the best in gold and boat manufacturing in the entire Philippine archipelago, having traded with places as far as Champa, Ming, Srivijaya, Majapahit, and the Bengali coasts. Butuan Polysports Complex
Butuan Polysports Complex, is a sports complex in Barangay Tiniwisan, Butuan, Philippines. The sports complex is the venue of athletic events for both Agusan del Norte and Caraga region. , there are only 3 sport venues inside the complex which have been completed. These are: Polysports Basketball Arena, Polysports Football Stadium, and the Polysports Baseball Park, with only the football stadium still remaining active. Macapagal Bridge
The Macapagal Bridge () is a steel cable-stayed bridge, cable-stayed bridge along Mayor Democrito D. Plaza II Avenue (also known as the Butuan Bypass Road) in Butuan that crosses the Agusan River. It has a length of , making it the second-longest bridge in Mindanao after the Panguil Bay Bridge, and the third-longest cable-stayed bridge in the Philippines after the Marcelo Fernan Bridge and Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway, Cebu–Cordova Bridge. Father Saturnino Urios University (; ), also referred to by its acronym FSUU, is a private Roman Catholic coeducational basic and higher education institution run by the Diocese of Butuan in Butuan, Philippines. The Agusan River is third longest river in the Philippines, located in the north-eastern part of Mindanao island, draining majority of the Caraga region and some parts of Davao de Oro. The Philippine Science High School - Caraga Region Campus (PSHS-CRC) is the 13th campus of the Philippine Science High School System located at Brgy. Ampayon, Butuan.
