A commune (''comună'' in Romanian language, Romanian) is the lowest level of administrative subdivision in Romania. There are 2,686 communes in Romania. Iași County
Iași County () is a county (județ) of Romania, in Western Moldavia, with the administrative seat at Iași. It is the most populous county in Romania, after the Municipality of Bucharest (which has the same administrative level as that of a county). Geography This county has a total area of . It lies on a plain between the Siret River and the Prut River. Two other rivers run through the county: the Bahlui River (on the banks of which lies the city of Iași) and the Jijia River. Sturdza Palace
The Sturdza Palace at Miclăușeni or Sturdza Castle at Miclăușeni () is a historic monument in the village of Miclăușeni, Iași County, at a distance of from the city of Iași. Currently, it is part of the Miclăușeni Historic Monastery complex, designated by the Romanian Ministry of Culture and National Patrimony in 2015. The House of Sturdza, Sturza or Stourdza () is the name of an old Moldavian noble family whose origins can be traced back to the 1540s. Members of the family played important political role in the history of Moldavia, Russia and later Romania. Origin The Sturdza were a family of Phanariote Greek origin and devoted much energy to the restoration of Greek independence. Ludovic Antal
Ludovic Antal (18 February 1924 October 1970) was a Romanian actor, primarily noted for his voice acting and his activity as a cultural promoter. Born to Csángó parents in Western Moldavia, he was initially destined for a career as a priest in the Roman Catholic Church, but left to study acting in the late 1940s, graduating from the OMEC conservatoire. After making his stage debut with a workers' theater in Bucharest, Antal attended the National Theatrical Institute in Bucharest. His break and artistic recognition occurred during a time when Romania was under a communist regime, and he took on a number of roles in ideological plays, as well as in the 1951 propaganda film ''In Our Village''. Antal still received poor reviews for his early stage work and voice acting, and was also regarded as politically suspect by the authorities, which accounted for his relative marginalization.
