Build Better More
The Build Better More (BBM) is the infrastructure program of the Marcos administration (2022–2028). It superseded the Build! Build! Build! infrastructure program of the Duterte administration (2016–2022). The following Infrastructure Flagship Projects (IFP)s were identified by the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA). The Marcos administration approved 194 infrastructure projects, ranging from public transport, power, health, information technology, water resources, and agriculture. 77 of those project were carried from past administrations while 123 are “new and initiated” by the Marcos administration. Presidency Of Bongbong Marcos
Bongbong Marcos began his presidency at noon on June 30, 2022, following his inauguration as the 17th president of the Philippines, succeeding Rodrigo Duterte. His term is expected to expire six years later, on June 30, 2028. Marcos initially downsized government bureaucracy, especially in the executive branch of the government. His administration oversaw the post-pandemic return to normalcy with the gradual reopening of the economy, return of face-to-face/physical classes, removal of stringent travel restrictions, and the lifting of the mask-wearing mandate for outdoor and indoor settings. He also sought to address the rising inflation and shortage of the country's food supply during the beginning of his presidency. The Taguig City Integrated Terminal Exchange (TCITX), originally conceptualized as the South Integrated Transport System (ITS-South), is a proposed intermodal transport terminal in Arca South, Taguig. It is primarily a bus terminal for buses going to and from Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao but connected to the FTI station and the under-construction Metro Manila Subway and the North–South Commuter Railway, as well as the Southeast Metro Manila Expressway. Originally scheduled for completion by 2022, construction has yet to begin as pre-construction activities were temporarily suspended due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but it was lifted in July 2023. NLEX Connector
NLEX Connector (North Luzon Expressway Connector) is a , four-lane elevated expressway in Metro Manila, Philippines. It connects the NLEX Harbor Link to the Metro Manila Skyway, which connects further to the North Luzon Expressway, North and South Luzon Expressways. The highway traverses parallel to the PNR Metro Commuter Line. It has five interchanges, four of which are currently operational. Alongside NLEX Harbor Link, trucks are allowed to use it. Construction began in 2019, and the connector was partially opened in March 2023. Its remaining section up to Santa Mesa is under construction and expected to be completed in the 2nd quarter of 2025.
