The Capital Region of Denmark (, ) is the easternmost administrative region of Denmark, and contains Copenhagen, the national capital. The Capital Region has 29 municipalities and a regional council consisting of 41 elected members. As of 1 August 2021, the chairperson is Lars Gaardhøj, who is a member of the Social Democrats party of Denmark. The Capital Region was established on 1 January 2007 as part of the 2007 Danish Municipal Reform. This reform abolished the traditional counties (Danish plural: , singular: ) and created five regions. Brøndby Kommune (), a municipality () in the former Copenhagen County (now Region Hovedstaden), is on the east coast of the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. Alex Ambrose (born 31 May 1978) is a Danish singer, songwriter and actor. As a soloist, he is better known by his first name Alex. Alex Ambrose was born in Brøndbyøster, Brøndby Municipality (a suburb of Copenhagen) and grew up in a musical family. He was working as a teaching assistant when he took part in the talent contest ''Popstars'' on TV 2 in 2002. Anton Skipper Hendriksen (; born 31 March 2000) is a Danish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a centre-back for Danish 1st Division club Esbjerg fB.
