Bruno Márquez (actor)
Bruno Daniel Márquez Albarrán (born 21 September 1989), is a Mexican former professional gridiron football quarterback in the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional, LFA, having played for 8 seasons, since the league's inaugural season. He played college football with Pumas CU before joining the LFA, where he was named league MVP in 2017 and 2019. He has also appeared for the Mexico national American football team, Mexico national team, most notably at the 2011 IFAF World Championship. Márquez attended the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he led their football team to two national championships and was named ONEFA player of the year in his final season. A few years after graduation, he accepted an offer to play in the upstart LFA as one of its marquee players. After spending the league's 2016 LFA season, inaugural season with Condors CDMX, Márquez joined Raptors de Naucalpan in 2017 LFA season, 2017. 2018 LFA Season
The 2018 LFA season was the third season of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional. The season saw all previous teams return with no additional new ones. The Mexicas CDMX, Eagles changed their team name to the Mexicas. This would be the first season that saw the championship, the Tazón México held at a neutral site of the Estadio Azul in Mexico City. The league season began on February 16 and concluded on the April 8. The playoffs began on the April 14 and concluded on April 22 with the Mexicas beating the Raptors in Taźon México III. In sports, a blowout or rout is an easy or one-sided victory. It occurs when one athletic team or individual performer outscores another by a large margin or in such a fashion that the second team or individual has little chance of a victory.
