Bruce Q. Chandler (born May 7, 1952) is an American businessman and politician from Washington. Chandler was a Republican member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing District 15, Position 1 from 1999 to 2025. Career In 1985, Chandler became the owner and operator of Chandler Ranches Limited Liability Company, a commercial fruit orchard. On November 3, 1998, Chandler won the election and became a Republican member of Washington House of Representatives for District 15, Position 1. Chandler defeated Walter J. The Washington House of Representatives is the lower house of the Washington State Legislature, and along with the Washington State Senate makes up the legislature of the U.S. state of Washington. Richard DeBolt
Richard Charles DeBolt (born November 3, 1965) is an American politician of the Republican Party. He was a member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing the 20th district from 1997 to 2021. He was House Republican Leader from 2004 to 2005 and again from 2006 to 2013. Political career DeBolt was first elected to office in 1996. He ran for office with the goal of focusing on economic development and business-friendly policies, and he has said that increased employment is key to solving issues such as uninsured residents. Granger, Washington
Granger is a city in Yakima County, Washington, United States. The population was 3,624 at the 2020 census. Although it was classified as a town in 2000, it has since been reclassified as a city. History Granger was founded in 1902 and named after Walter Granger, superintendent of the Washington Irrigation Company who also laid out the cities of Zillah and Sunnyside. Granger was officially incorporated on September 28, 1909. In the 1910s and 1920s, the town had several large industries including a tile and brick company and a cider mill. The Granger Farm Workers Camp, which opened in May 1941 two miles north of the city, became known as the Crewport, Washington Farm Labor Camp. It was built by the Farm Security Administration to house Dust Bowl refugees, initially White, and later Mexican Americans, who were brought in to work in the Yakima Valley as a result of World War II labor shortages. Zillah, Washington
Zillah is a city in Yakima County, Washington, United States, with a population of 3,179 as of the 2020 census. History Zillah was founded in 1891 following the completion of the Sunnyside Canal project, an irrigation scheme delivering water from the Yakima River to the arid lower Yakima Valley. Walter Granger, superintendent of the canal company, chose the town site in 1892. The town was named for Zillah Oakes, daughter of Northern Pacific Railway president Thomas Fletcher Oakes, who had financed the canal's construction. She was the youngest member of an expedition to scout possible townsites; allegedly, the town was named for Zillah after she had fallen into a stream with the party's wagon and had to be consoled by her father.
