Browar Jędrzejów is a brewery in Jędrzejów, Poland. It is currently owned by Van Pur. It is well known for its Strzelec brand, which translates into Sagittarius. History The origins of the brewery industry in Jędrzejów date back to the first half of the nineteenth century. In 1871 , the plant was bought by Jan Frohlichen who consistently modernized it. In the years 1904 - 1906 on the site of the old brewery in existence since 1823 was erected from scratch new buildings, which were adjusted to brew beer Pilsner . The power plant was launched in 1910 it totaled 4 000 hectoliters of beer per year. In the interwar period it has been increased to 8 000 hectoliters. Browar Van Pur is a limited liability company based in Poland. The company operates 5 breweries in Jędrzejów, Koszalin, Łomża, Rakszawa and Zabrze. The headquarters of Van Pur is located in Warsaw. History Van Pur is a Polish company launched at the time of the collapse of Communism in 1989, by Zbigniew Wantusiak, and Siegfried Pura of Astrid Pura. Perła – Browary Lubelskie S.A. is a Polish brewery. Founded in 1844 in the abandoned ruins of a monastery, in 1846 it began brewing a Helles-style beer using bottom fermenting technology. A second brewery opened in 1914. Both breweries were nationalized by the post-war Polish People's Republic. In 1992, the company was privatized and became a joint stock company. In 2001, the brewing operations were moved to the second site and the first site became a corporate headquarters. Browar Koszalin is a brewery in Koszalin, Poland that is located in a Neo-Gothic building, built in the second half of the nineteenth century, that brews BROK beer. It belongs to the Van Pur brewery conglomerate. History Koszalin brewery was founded in 1868 year as a craft beer. Beer started to be mass-produced in 1874.
